So what's wrong with it?

Well, to many it seems that Boobs on bikes is a problem. Protesters state that the event revealing topless women encourages porn, rape and abuse to women and children. After all it is to promote Steve Crow's exotica expo. The protesters marched down infront of the long line of bare breast women with banners saying 'Porn fuels rape'. Protester organiser said to one of the camera men there that day "We hope to raise awareness amongst the very people that need to see our message. Maybe some of these men have never drawn a link between hardcore pornography and sexual violence." This event Boobs on bikes has advertised porn to many underaged teens and children in the country. It was been proven that porn has fueled rape or abuse to innocent victims.

Boobs on Bikes

The now well-known parade has caused a lot of debating and disagreement in personal conversations and even in the courts. Boobs on Bikes first was introduced to New Zealand in 2003. Although then it wasn't known like now. Over the years the event has grown and spectators range from high school boys to old men that look old enough to be in their 80's. The 1,000 viewers though aren't all men. Women stand in the crowd and cheer or boo along. These parades take place in some of the main cities of New Zealand such as Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. With many fans it is expected to continue yearly, only the protestors can do something to prevent this from going on.
